Sahayahastham is a loan scheme introduced by the Kerala Government in India to provide financial assistance to individuals from the weaker sections of society. The scheme is designed to support people who are struggling financially and need help to overcome debt or meet their financial obligations.
Under the Sahayahastham loan scheme, individuals can avail of loans ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 100,000 at a low interest rate of 12% per annum. The loan tenure is up to 60 months, and the scheme is implemented through the Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited (KSBCDC).
The main objective of the Sahayahastham loan scheme is to provide financial support to people from backward classes, SC/ST communities, and other marginalized groups, helping them to improve their financial stability and overall well-being.
